We started with just five telecom specialists and one product line in 1991 to the industry-leading independent distributor we are today.
Within one year of its inception, A1 moved into a larger facility, providing the space necessary to transform our operation into the stocking distributor and service provider you know today. A1’s Repair Center was the first addition, in 1992, with our Technical Service Center following, in 1994, to enhance our service offerings to you. With these enhanced stocking capabilities and service offerings channeling so much product through the A1 facility, we made a commitment to protect the product we distribute to you by becoming one of the first (and remaining one of the few) independent telecommunications distributors to achieve ISO 9000 certification.
To continuously monitor and improve our processes for you, we created a devoted Quality Assurance Department the same year we achieved our original ISO certification, 1995. In 2001 we attained our communications specialty license for Pinellas County and began providing local service and installation services throughout the state of Florida.
Now to 2016 we are now part of a global company capable of servicing communication needs worldwide – Ghekko Group. We have grown to reach and supply the world with top quality telecoms equipment. Expanding in an exciting new era of research and development.
All our products are covered by a 24 month guarantee from the date of purchase, to protect our customers from manufacturers defects. During this time you may return for repair if defective. This warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship encountered in normal, reasonable use of the product during the warranty period.
If a product covered by this limited warranty is claimed to be defective, the customer must request a Return Material Authorization (“RMA”). An RMA request will be approved only if the customer follows the Returns Procedures described below.
Contact your sales account manager at A1 and request an RMA to begin the process.
All goods must be returned as supplied including cables, leads, power supplies etc, and product boxes in good condition.
If the product is new we offer a 30 day returns policy for replacement, repair, or credit.
Where no fault is found there will be a 15% restocking fee.
Where an item is ordered in error it is at A1’s discretion whether a return is acceptable, a handling charge will be applied and original carriage costs will not be refunded.
Advanced Replacements are sent on the original Purchase Order. This is then invoiced and the cost of the replacement will then be refunded to you upon receipt of the returned item.
When returning please ensure the Returns Number is clearly visible on the outer packaging otherwise goods may be refused. Also ensure that full explanations for the return are given (Returns cannot be processed without fault details). Product Condition Details

Refurbished equipment, here at A1 we repair, test, replace and refurbish products so they are simply as good as new. We do this at our facilities in St Petersburg, Florida, USA by our expert employees.
Unused Equipment this is product that is still in OEM packaging and has never been installed, but is Secondary Market, and therefore not classified new and warranty-supported by A1 Teletronics only.
New Equipment is a new product in new packaging that is authorized by the OEM to be sold through A1 and is OEM supported through the same.
