CEO and Founder
Mike Galinski jumpstarted his career in the electronics industry as an Account Executive with New York's Pulsar Components, International. In 1984, he moved onto Quasar Components, International, to serve as President and CEO. Five years later, with a dream of establishing a successful distributorship in the integrated circuit market, Galinski moved to Clearwater, Florida to build America II from conception to realization as one of the industry's leading independent distributors.
Since then, Galinski has made a trusted name for himself and his company through proven experience, impeccable knowledge of the semiconductor market, and an ability to forecast market trends. Named Florida Entrepreneur of the Year by Inc. Magazine (1994), Galinski demonstrates instinctive business acumen and an open management style that continue to earn him distinction among industry professionals and employees alike.
General Counsel and Secretary
Mike Pointer joined America II in 1995 and currently directs the company's legal and human resources functions. Prior to joining America II, Pointer represented the organization on employment matters while working for the labor and employment law firm of Zinober & McCrea, P.A. in Tampa, Florida.
Before relocating to Florida in 1993, Pointer gained a broad base of experience working in Washington, D.C. for one of the country's largest law firms, Kirkland & Ellis, P.A., and the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission. Pointer also had the distinction of serving as an appellate law clerk to the Honorable George E. MacKinnon, U.S. Court of Appeals, D.C. Circuit.
Pointer is a graduate of The University of Notre Dame Law School (magna cum laude) and Oral Roberts University (summa cum laude).
CFO and Treasurer
Aris Rogers joined America II in June 1993 as Controller and assumed the responsibilities of CFO in September of the same year. Prior to joining America II, Rogers worked with Ernst & Young, most recently as a Senior Financial and Information System Auditor.
With America II, Rogers takes responsibility for financial and budgetary reporting, banking and credit relationships, tax strategy, treasury, and risk management. Rogers also played an integral role in the implementation of America II's corporate-wide ERP software system.
Rogers is a Certified Public Accountant and holds an MBA and a BS degree in accounting from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Chief Operating Officer
As COO, Dan Bisaillon is responsible for directing all of America II's domestic and international semiconductor business as the company moves to expand its global market presence. Under his leadership, America II is positioned to build upon its success, providing a more responsive operating structure that supports our goals of accelerating continuous improvement and ultimately driving even greater growth for the company. Dan joined America II in 1998 and VP Operations and CIO. He was named COO in November 2010.
Prior to America II, Dan served as Vice President of Operations for Dataflex Corp., a national computer reseller. In his 10-year tenure with Dataflex, his IT and communications direction laid the infrastructure for an IPO and multiplied revenues. Bisaillon also introduced a commerce-enabled website for the company and worked with its supplier base to develop supply chain optimization systems, improving Dataflex's bottom line.
Prior to joining Dataflex, Bisaillon attained a B.A. in Business from the University of South Florida and gained experience in data processing management and as a programmer/analyst.
