Description:
This 5 day MICS/CallPilot® training class is designed for telecom technicians who are installing, programming and maintaining Norstar®, MICS and CallPilot® Voicemail systems. MICS is taught at the 7.0 level, and CallPilot® is taught at the 3.0 level. Basic installation and programming will be covered.
Each participant will have access to a system for ‘hands-on’ programming experience. There will be practice exercises where participants perform selected installation and maintenance tasks on the system as well as written exercises and questions relating to information presented in the course. A training manual is provided for reference and support.

- Describe and install MICS equipment
- Startup programming
- Configure and install station and trunk modules
- Trunk and line programming
- Program terminals and sets
- Hunt group programming
- Program services
- Program routing and destination codes
- Install and program T-1/ PRI services
- Describe the CallPilot® Voice Mail and system operation
- Install CallPilot® Voice Mail hardware
- Connect to CallPilot® via laptop
- Program Automated Attendant feature
- Program Custom Call Routing Trees
- Program mailboxes and remote message notification
Prerequisite Skills:
- Understand basic key system technology
- Basic computer skills required
The course fee is $1,500, which includes all of the training materials, a manual, and certificate of attendance. Lunch is also included each day of training when at the A1 Teletronics facility.
