Description:

This 5 day Nortel® Sales Configuration and Administration training class is designed for sales professionals, end users and administrators who are maintaining Nortel® product lines: BCM 4.0, BCM 50, Norstar® MICS 7.0 and CallPilot® Voicemail systems. Basic configuring and administration will be covered.

Each participant will have access to a system for ‘hands-on’ programming experience. There will be practice exercises where participants perform selected configuration and administrative tasks on the system as well as written exercises and questions relating to information presented in the course. A training manual is provided for reference and support.

Objectives - Areas covered during this course include:

• Describe and configure the BCM 200/400, BCM 50, MICS and CallPilot® equipment
• All basic phone functions
  (Transferring calls, conferencing, contrast adjustment, paging, call pick up, etc)
• Assign lines and ring to extensions
• Program basic capabilities of the extensions (handsfree, forwarding)
• Program and change names on the extensions
• Set up answer DNs
• Program auto dial buttons
• Feature codes and their functionality
• Describing the CallPilot® Voice Mail and system operation
• Program automated attendant feature
• Build, change and delete mailboxes
• Program remote notification and outdialing
  

Prerequisite Skills: Basic computer skills required
(Minimum of 2 participants is required.)

The course fee is $1,300, which includes all of the training materials, a manual, and certificate of attendance. Lunch is also included each day of training when at the A1 Teletronics facility.
